WELL every missionaries time has been cut to 40 minutes as of this past week. It seems that Presidente is starting to change things in the field. I have absolutely no complaints. I agree that we all need to focus more, and having too much time on the internet can be a distraction for some. You know me though, I'm not really missing anyone (except Jace and Romney). Haha.
Anyway, we had a huge miracle happen this last week.
So a month ago, I saw this kid in the street. His name is Daniel, and he was riding a bike. We talked for a minute and he was really cool, but then he left.
I thought nothing more of it.
3 weeks ago I met this kid Pedro in the road. We talked for a minute, and he was really cool, but then he left.
I Thought nothing more of it.
2 weeks ago I met these two kids in the road, Deborah, and Davi. We talked for a minute, and they were really cool, but then they left.
I thought nothing more of it.
Two Sundays ago we were walking to Lunch after church and met PEDRO again in the road. He smiled and waved and said boa tarde and left.
I thought nothing more of it.
We went to lunch, and returned, walking in a completely different direction and found him again outside of his house. As we waved and continued walking, I felt a soft, but firm, feeling, to turn back. Third time seeing the kid. As soon as I shook his hand, he said
finally, Sister, my family has been waiting! The kid is Jaces age.
He took us in his house. We met his family of 6. In 15 minutes they all accepted to be baptized. (Deborah, Davi, and Daniel are his siblings).
They had their interviews five days later on Friday, and will be baptized on the 25th.
Always listen to the promptings of the Spirit. When we are worthy, and when we are listening, the Father prompts us, guides us, assists us to accomplish his work.
