Updates and such:
As of last week, Elder F Sousa ordered 700 BOM just for POTI. We are supposed to be receiving all supplies, BOMs and pamphlets and everything, this Friday. Merry Christmas to everybody.
We had an AMAZING week this past week. We made tons of contacts and met tons of new great families. My testimony is growing about working with less actives. Through just two different less actives we contacted, we now have 2 new families we are teaching. They are amazing.
Things are still difficult with the area though. When I arrived, I had nothing to work with. No one had kept up the area book, they only had 4 investigators TOTAL. I told my companion... We are going to set this place on fire. And we will. But it's taking time to pour the cement and literally start from scratch. But this week, we began weaning through all the people we've begun teaching to find those that really have a desire to learn. So far we haven't had to cut anyone, but we've cut back time with a few. We have 2 set for baptism, Hortalima and Shilainy. We have a probable 3 that are completely ready to be baptized and I think we can make it happen this Saturday. So much work to do.
I don't know if I'm going to be able to send pictures for awhile. None of the computers have plugins for my card. Sorry guys. You'll see my face in 9 days. How awkward is that?
